Hard Rock Hotels will temporarily close two of its Mexican beachfront resorts in Cancun and Riviera Nayarit this summer to complete extensive renovations.
The renovation project includes upgrades to guestrooms, public areas, meeting and convention facilities and other core amenities at both all-inclusive resorts, which are scheduled to reopen in late December 2026. The renovations are expected to take approximately five months.
Both properties also will introduce new collections of music memorabilia featuring items from musicians and artists spanning multiple generations. At Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta in Riviera Nayarit, the beachfront wedding chapel also will be renovated. During the closure, Hard Rock Hotels’ all-inclusive resorts in Los Cabos, Riviera Maya and Punta Cana will remain open.
