The Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead has completed a renovation of its guestrooms and suites, including the addition of the Grand Peach Suite and Pure Rooms. With a total renovation of 439 guestrooms including 21 suites, this milestone marks a significant step in a multi-phase transformational renovation.
“We are proud to introduce our newly renovated guest rooms, offering enhanced luxury, sleek amenities and ample space for gatherings. Guests will have a variety of residential suites to choose from, depending their purpose of visit and what is important to them. These amenities include balconies, pool tables and our newest addition, the Grand Peach Suite, which offers guests two bedrooms inclusive of a kitchenette, living room, dining space and Peloton bike,” Kristi Cotten-Morris, general manager of Grand Hyatt Atlanta, said in a statement.
Design firm Whitespace collaborated on the renovation, using the city as inspiration.
Guestrooms: The renovation of the guestrooms emphasizes a modern aesthetic, showcasing new furniture along with new paint and carpeting. Each room has upgraded fixtures, including headboards, drapery, lounge chairs, lamps and side tables, creating a blend of classic architecture and contemporary flair against the backdrop of a Japanese garden. The bathrooms have also been comprehensively upgraded, now with new baths, vanities and tiles.
Residential-Style Suites: The suites have a fully equipped wet bar and kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator and a wine cooler. The suites also have a dining area with a table that seats six.
The Grand Peach Suite: Located on the 25th floor, the two-bedroom Grand Peach Suite has panoramic views of the city and the Japanese Zen Garden. Spanning over 1,200 square feet, the suite has distinctive round windows and modern décor and is designed to accommodate up to eight guests.
Pure Wellness Rooms: The hypoallergenic Pure Wellness Rooms undergo a patented seven-step purification process. This ensures both the air and surfaces are free from allergens and toxins, creating a healthier, more comfortable environment for guests.
Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead will continue its renovation efforts later this fall, focusing on the lobby, public areas and meeting spaces. The project will be a collaborative effort between Design One Studio, the architect, and DLR Group, the interior designer.
