Hyatt Hotels Corp. has completed a renovation of Hyatt Zilara Cancun, an adults-only all-inclusive resort located in Cancun’s Hotel Zone.
The project includes redesigned guestrooms, updated public spaces, enhanced dining venues and renovations to the property’s spa and beach amenities. The 310-suite resort introduced redesigned accommodations featuring natural materials, locally inspired artwork and updated interiors influenced by the surrounding Yucatán Peninsula landscape.
Public areas throughout the Mexican resort were also updated, including infrastructure improvements, expanded shaded areas at the pool and beach, upgraded loungers and a redesigned beach area intended to provide a quieter guest experience.
“We are pleased to share the debut of new enhancements at Hyatt Zilara Cancun following a transformative renovation that elevates the guest experience,” Eduardo Rojas, general manager of Hyatt Zilara Cancun, said in a statement. “These new enhancements blend modern luxury with local character, offering guests and members a rich sense of place and connection in a destination they know and love.”
Dining and entertainment venues across the resort were updated. The property’s 12 food-and-beverage outlets now include Bokeh, a reservation-only speakeasy concept and Casa Adelita, a chef-led dining experience serving Yucatán-inspired cuisine. The resort also added OlCio D’Olivia, an Italian restaurant serving lunch and dinner.
The property’s Zen Spa was also renovated with new wellness-focused offerings, including hydrotherapy experiences and treatment programs using naturally sourced ingredients.
According to Hyatt, the renovation is part of the continued growth of its Inclusive Collection portfolio, which includes more than 150 all-inclusive resorts across Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe. The company has also expanded its presence in the Cancun market through recent openings and renovations, including Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort and planned development projects such as Park Hyatt Riviera Maya.
