Stayntouch unveils next-generation PMS platform upgrade

PMS provider Stayntouch has unveiled a major platform enhancement designed to significantly boost performance, accelerate innovation and further strengthen system reliability for hotels worldwide.

Built around a new Gen-2 architecture, the upgraded Stayntouch PMS is aimed at helping hotels operate more efficiently, scale seamlessly and maintain uninterrupted service for guests and staff. In addition, according to the Bethesda, Md.-based company, the enhanced cloud-based PMS delivers a 30 percent to 35 percent performance increase during high-demand periods while reducing average update and fix resolution times by approximately 50 percent.

“Over the past decade, we’ve earned a reputation for delivering real value through continuous product improvement,” Prabol Bhandari, chief technology officer at Stayntouch, said in a statement. “With our enhanced Gen-2 platform and AI-driven tools, we’re making it easier for hotels to run smoothly, respond to guests in real time and adopt new capabilities seamlessly.”

A key component of the platform evolution is Stayntouch’s adoption of AI-driven development tools. These tools are designed to enable engineering teams to deliver enhancements more efficiently, improve code quality and ensure greater system stability. The Gen-2 platform operates on AWS EKS clusters, providing a scalable foundation designed to support long-term innovation.

The company has also enhanced its data and reporting infrastructure. Hotels can now view critical metrics—such as occupancy, revenue trends, housekeeping efficiency and guest service performance—almost instantly, without impacting the speed or reliability of the live PMS environment, according to the company. The improved reporting capabilities are designed to support more informed, data-driven decision-making across departments.

Security remains a key component of the Stayntouch platform. The PMS continues to meet compliance standards, including PCI Level 1 certification, ensuring hotel and guest data is protected while supporting reliable, high-performance operations.
