Remington Hospitality has added the Sheraton Mission Valley San Diego Hotel—which is scheduled to be converted to a Hyatt Regency—to its third-party management portfolio.
The 14-story, full-service property is scheduled to undergo a comprehensive renovation and repositioning later this year. The 260-room hotel features a business center, fitness center, outdoor pool, club lounge, on-site restaurant and more than 10,000 sq.-feet of meeting space.
The property will remain open throughout the renovation, which will include updates to guestrooms, meeting and event space, public areas and food-and-beverage outlets as the property is repositioned under the Hyatt Regency flag. Located in San Diego's Mission Valley, the hotel provides access to San Diego International Airport, San Diego State University, Snapdragon Stadium, SeaWorld, Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo.
