Rebel Hotel Company has added three hotels to its management portfolio with the acquisitions of Circa 39 Miami Beach in Florida, Hotel La Jolla in San Diego and Coachman Lake Tahoe in California.
The three additions expand the New York-based operator’s portfolio of independent and soft-branded hotels in destination leisure markets. All of the acquired hotels are undergoing or expected to undergo operational and positioning initiatives.
“These portfolio additions represent the exact type of distinct hospitality experiences that define what it means to be a Rebel Hotel Company hotel,” Brian Sparacino, president and CEO of Rebel Hotel Company, said in a statement. “Each property has a tremendous track record for excellent guest experience, while showing potential to elevate operations and strengthen market position as well.”
Circa 39 Miami Beach is scheduled to transition into IHG's Vignette Collection soft brand. A repositioning project—including renovations and updates to the hotel's market positioning—is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026.
At Hotel La Jolla, Rebel said it will focus on enhancing the California property's food-and-beverage operations and guest experience following the management transition. For Coachman Lake Tahoe, the company plans to introduce new guest programming, events and service enhancements as part of its management strategy.
