Raines is now managing the 114-room AC Hotel Downtown Little Rock, a Marriott-branded adaptive-reuse property in Arkansas.
According to the Florence, S.C.-based operator, the property's positioning aligns with its experience managing independent and lifestyle hotels through its Woven division, which includes Hotel Florence and The Foundry Hotel. The company's portfolio now totals 50 properties comprising 5,393 rooms across the Southeast.
Located in the city's Capitol-Main Historic District, the hotel occupies the historic Hall and Davidson buildings near the River Market District, a mixed-use neighborhood along the Arkansas River. Amenities include a fitness center, meeting space and the AC Lounge bar and restaurant.
Raines noted it plans to expand food-and-beverage programming at the property while increasing use of its approximately 5,000-square-feet of street-level meeting space for events, conferences and community gatherings.
“AC Hotel Downtown Little Rock has a strong sense of place, from its historic architecture to its location near one of the city's most vibrant districts,” Kerry Ranson, president of operations and partner at Raines, said in a statement. “Our goal is to build on that character and create an experience that feels connected to downtown Little Rock.”
