PM Hotel Group has expanded its presence in Wilmington, Del., assuming operations for The Quoin Hotel & Restaurant, a 24-room luxury boutique hotel in downtown.
Housed in a restored 1885 brownstone, the independent hotel features a wood-fired Northern Italian restaurant, a craft cocktail lounge and a rooftop bar. The addition expands the Chevy Chase, Md.-based operator’s Wilmington portfolio, which also includes Hotel Du Pont, DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Wilmington, Homewood Suites by Hilton Wilmington Downtown and The Westin Wilmington.
“Thirty years in, our conviction in distinctive, independent properties has never been stronger, and The Quoin Hotel & Restaurant is a great example of that,” Paul Sacco, chief growth and development officer of PM Hotel Group, said in a statement. “We're excited to grow our presence in the Delaware market with a hotel that captures the character of downtown Wilmington so well, and we see real opportunity to build on what makes this property special.”
