Third-party management firm OTH Hotels Resorts has entered the Connecticut and New York markets with the addition of two new full-service hotels.
With the addition of the Heritage Hotel & Conference Center in Southbury, Conn., and the DoubleTree by Hilton Binghamton in Binghamton, N.Y., the company has added a combined 370 guestrooms and more than 33,000 square feet of meeting and event space to its portfolio.
Williamsburg, Va.-based OTH Hotels Resorts will oversee operations at both hotels, including revenue management, sales and marketing, food and beverage operations, guest experience and asset performance. The additions expand the company's presence in the Northeast and follow recent third-party management assignments in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland and New Jersey.
“As we continue to expand, the addition of these hotels represents an exciting opportunity to take two established full-service properties into their next chapter,” Scott McMahon, chief development officer of OTH Hotels Resorts, said in a statement. “Both hotels have an incredible breadth of meeting, recreation and leisure amenities and we're excited to build on those strengths while identifying new opportunities to enhance the guest experience and drive operational performance.”
The Heritage Hotel & Conference Center has 163 guestrooms and suites and more than 28,000 square feet of meeting and event space across 21 venues, including a 2,500-square-foot amphitheater. Amenities include the 8,000-sq.-foot Riverwalk Athletic Club, indoor and outdoor saltwater pools, two on-site restaurants and the nine-hole Pomperaug Golf Club.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Binghamton has 207 guestrooms and approximately 25,000 sq.-feet of meeting space. Located in downtown Binghamton overlooking the Chenango River, the hotel includes a heated indoor pool, River Bistro restaurant and a 5,000 sq.-foot athletic club.
