Hotel owner/operator Namron Hospitality has expanded its portfolio of boutique hotels with three new properties in Mexico.
Volga and Alexander—two contemporary luxury hotels in central Mexico City—are now operated by Namron Hospitality, which has assumed full management of both properties. In addition, the luxury brand has taken over sales and marketing management of Hacienda Viatura Xtojil, a luxury glamping retreat located outside Mérida in Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula.
“I am delighted to deepen our presence in vibrant Mexico City and broaden our footprint across the Yucatán Peninsula, offering guests hotels that truly reflect the richness of local culture,” Yves Naman, founder of Mexico City-based Namron Hospitality, said in a statement. “Both destinations hold a special place in my heart and are places I have returned to time and again, which is why we’ve chosen to expand Namron Hospitality’s portfolio in these regions.”
Volga is close to Mexico City’s iconic Reforma Avenue and is designed to blend bold brutalist architecture with contemporary hospitality and a creative spirit, according to the company. Opened in 2023, the 50-room luxury boutique hotel was designed by architects Javier Sánchez and Aisha Ballesteros and is shaped by music, art and design. Guests have access to a rooftop pool, gym, bar, concept store and the hotel’s mezcalería, with interiors influenced by the work of Mexican artist Perla Krauze.
Alexander, meanwhile, is set within the Torre Virreyes skyscraper in the Lomas Virreyes neighborhood and is designed to deliver world-class hospitality paired with avant-garde design. Opened in 2024, the 26-suite hotel is defined by highly personalized luxury and is crowned by its signature offering: Mexico’s only dedicated Caviar Bar, according to the company. Expansive suites look to showcase refined interiors, luxury furnishings and curated Mexican art, complemented by a state-of-the-art gym, spa and bespoke in-room amenities.
Located 40 minutes from Mérida, Hacienda Viatura Xtojil invites guests into a serene landscape set within a historic hacienda surrounded by expansive sisal plantations. The retreat features 15 glamorous tents designed for soulful escapes rooted in authenticity, local culture and holistic well-being. The property embraces conscious regeneration through experiences such as sound healing, horseback riding, temazcal ceremonies and Melipona bee workshops celebrating the native stingless bee central to Mayan culture.
The announcement of the three new properties follows the recent debut of four new properties under the Namron Hospitality umbrella. Le Particulier and Maison Felix in Miami, and La Valise Los Cabos, all opened in November 2025. Meanwhile, El Cortés—a 15-room hotel set within a restored 1915 presidential residence—is scheduled to open in Mexico City in March 2026.
