Maestro PMS details 2026 product roadmap focused on AI, mobile

Maestro PMS has outlined its 2026 Software & Innovation Roadmap, which details planned enhancements across automation, mobile functionality, revenue management and multi-property operations.

A central theme of the 2026 roadmap is the expanded use of artificial intelligence to support both guest-facing and back-of-house operations. Planned updates include AI-enabled tools designed to improve personalization, operational efficiency and decision-making across departments. The roadmap reflects the company’s continued focus on aligning technology development with hotel operational needs and customer feedback, according to the Markham, Ontario-based company.

“Maestro will continue embedding AI-driven capabilities throughout the platform to support smarter operations and more personalized guest experiences,” Lisa Jane Wheaton, senior product strategist at Maestro, said in a statement. “We’re also evolving Maestro Online Education into an AI-powered learning platform that helps hotels onboard and train staff more efficiently with role-specific, on-demand content.”

Mobile functionality is also set to expand, with enhancements such as mobile check-in with room number selection and integrated upselling features aimed at improving convenience while supporting incremental revenue opportunities.

Beyond rooms revenue, Maestro’s roadmap emphasizes expanded digital commerce and ancillary revenue optimization. Planned capabilities include dynamic yielding for non-room revenue categories, allowing hotels to adjust pricing based on demand patterns

The company also plans continued investment in ResWave, including expanded spa package offerings and new portable inventory and equipment management tools designed to support wellness operations.

Operational improvements remain a key focus the company, particularly for multi-property operators. Planned enhancements include cross-property rate type copying, updated group inventory sell limits and more granular room type and room number status controls. Maestro is also developing expanded group sales workflows, including email-based BEOs, contract functionality and integrated pre-payment capabilities that aim to reduce manual processes and shorten booking timelines.

On the payments side, Maestro plans to introduce Apple Pay and Google Pay through MezzoPay, enabling contactless transactions across Maestro Mobile and ResWave.

Going forward, Maestro said it will continue investing in browser-based functionality, cloud infrastructure and data security.
