The Danville Hotel Collection has selected Mews as the property management system for its boutique hotel portfolio.
Supported by Richmond-based hotel operator Retro Hospitality, the Danville Hotel Collection is a developer and asset manager focused on adaptive reuse of historic properties. The company will deploy the cloud-based Mews platform across The Laurel Hotel, The Bee Hotel and The Holbrook Hotel as it prepares for continued growth.
“Mews is a strong fit for our reimagined, one-of-a-kind properties,” Bob McDonald, asset manager at Danville Hotel Collection, said in a statement. “Our previous platform limited our flexibility. With Mews, we’re improving guest engagement and operational efficiency—from check-in and payments to guest profiles and cross-team communication.”
“The Danville Hotel Collection demonstrates how technology and historic preservation can work together,” added Michael Coscetta, president of Mews. “With Mews, the team can automate manual workflows, scale more efficiently and deepen guest relationships as the portfolio grows.”
The move brings the three properties onto a single operating platform designed to streamline day-to-day operations, enhance guest engagement and support centralized reporting as the portfolio expands. The Laurel Hotel is scheduled to go live on Mews in February 2026, with The Holbrook and The Bee to follow.
