Crescent Hotels & Resorts has added the Hilton Short Hills in Short Hills, N.J., to its management portfolio, expanding the company's presence in the greater New York market.
The hotel has 314 guestrooms and suites and more than 21,000 square feet of meeting and event space. Facilities include 13 meeting rooms and a 5,200-square-foot Grand Ballroom.
Located across from The Mall at Short Hills and about 13 miles from Newark Liberty International Airport, the hotel serves both leisure and business travelers. The property also is near the business hubs of Morristown and Parsippany and several major corporate offices in Northern New Jersey.
Food-and-beverage outlets include The Dining Room, which serves breakfast and lunch, and The Retreat Bar & Rooftop, an open-air venue featuring rooftop views and fire-pit seating. Additional amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, tennis courts, a fitness center, an executive lounge and a tented outdoor pavilion used for weddings and events.
The hotel is positioned in Essex County, a market that benefits from demand generated by shopping, entertainment and corporate travel. Nearby attractions include The Mall at Short Hills, the Paper Mill Playhouse and the New Jersey Center for the Performing Arts.
