Textiles and acoustical management material company Carnegie has expanded its line of Biobased Xorel products, the world's first bio-based, climate-positive, commercial textile. The new patterns, Nexus and Dash, are part of the Conscious Collection. Biobased Xorel is made from rapidly renewable sugarcane with self-powered production that uses zero water. For every ton of material produced, 2.5 tons of carbon is sequestered, making Biobased Xorel a climate-positive innovation.

Biobased Xorel is 100 percent PVC-free, finish-free and PFAS-free. Biobased Xorel is Cradle to Cradle Gold and Living Product Challenge-certified. It also achieved SCS Indoor Advantage Gold and is verified as a USDA-certified biobased product.

The new Biobased Xorel offerings are:

Nexus: Nexus is a staple for wallcovering, upholstered walls, wrapped panels, tackable or acoustical panels, Xorel Artform and headboards. The new color line has a total of 18 textured neutrals that utilize both matte and lustrous yarns fused into dimensional linen built to endure.

Dash: Carnegie is launching all-new Dash colors, a palette of 14 tones and muted pops of color that are reminiscent of raw silk and applicable for all end-use applications.
