Top Markets

Among CoStar’s top 25 markets, Tampa, Fla., saw the highest year-over-year increases in occupancy (+24.1 percent to 81.3 percent) and RevPAR (+22.1 percent to $125.39). As is common around a natural disaster, the market’s hotel performance was lifted by displacement demand from Hurricane Helene.

The steepest RevPAR declines were seen in Las Vegas (-25.9 percent to $118.51) and Chicago (-25.8 percent to $115.05).
