Spire Hospitality to manage Orlando resort and water park

Spire Hospitality has assumed management of the resort operations for The Grove Resort & Water Park, a resort on 106 acres near Orlando.

The Grove Resort & Water Park consists of 878 two- and three-bedroom condominiums, nearly all enrolled in the property’s rental management program. The property has four food and beverage outlets, a seven-acre water park, three full-sized swimming pools, a full-service spa, a meeting center, a children’s activity center, an arcade and a fitness center. The resort is on Lake Austin, an 18-acre resort amenity, and in close proximity to Disney World Theme Parks, Universal Orlando and Sea World.

“We continue to build our portfolio with the right properties that will benefit from our focus on culture, guest and employee experiences, dynamic and creative revenue generation, and profit for our owners,” Spire Hospitality CEO Chris Russell said in a statement.

With the addition of The Grove Resort & Water Park, Spire has a total of 30 properties. Other recent additions to Spire’s portfolio include two lifestyle hotels, The Leta Hotel in Goleta, Calif., and Villa Florence Hotel in San Francisco’s Union Square; and a select-service hotel, Hilton Garden Inn Fremont Milpitas, in Fremont, Calif.
