Oliver Hotels & Resorts, formerly OCI Hospitality, has unveiled a new brand identity designed to reinforce its owner-focused approach to hotel management and support its continued growth across the United States.

The family-owned and operated company manages more than 30 properties in 14 states, representing nearly 5,000 keys across 20 brands, including Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton and IHG.

The rebrand reflects the company's evolution from a regional operator into a multi-state hospitality management platform. Its portfolio includes assets such as the historic Hilton Checkers Los Angeles. Company leaders said the new Oliver Hotels & Resorts name underscores a philosophy built around ownership, long-term performance and value creation.

Leadership Team

Oliver Hotels & Resorts said it approaches hotel management through an owner's lens, focusing on operational performance, strategic growth and measurable results.

“We don’t just manage hotels. We think and act like the people who own them, because with our collective decades of experience, we know what’s at stake. Every decision comes back to one question: does this create value for the owner?” Danny Givertz, CEO of Oliver Hotels & Resorts, said in a statement.

The company said in a statement that its new identity reflects a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach supported by an experienced leadership team that specializes in operations, revenue management, sales, accounting, engineering, human resources and procurement.

Key members of the leadership team include:

  • Seth Oliver, president and COO, who helped lead the reorganization of parent company Oliver Companies into a more streamlined, client-focused organization.
  • Givertz, CEO, who brings nearly 30 years of hospitality experience and a track record of more than 300 hotel engagements nationwide.
  • Colleen Anderson, CFO, who has more than 20 years of accounting experience, including 15 years in hospitality.
Mitra Van, senior vice president of business development, with more than two decades of experience in hospitality leadership, asset management and operations.
  • JP Villarreal, vice president of hotel operations, who has more than 20 years of experience overseeing branded and independent hotels.
  • Therese Wensmann, vice president of sales and culture, who leads revenue and team development initiatives backed by 23 years of industry experience.

Oliver Hotels & Resorts said its operating model combines the flexibility of a family-owned business with the resources of a growing management platform.

The company conducts independent market analyses for each property and works with owners to identify performance opportunities, address challenges and create long-term growth strategies.

Recent results include:

  • Hilton Checkers Los Angeles, which achieved its first $1 million month in rooms revenue in March. Since Oliver Hotels & Resorts assumed management, the property has generated $810,286 more in rooms revenue than during the same period a year earlier, despite selling 1,048 fewer room nights.
  • Radisson Cedar Rapids, which posted a 318 percent increase in rooms revenue, a 152 percent increase in room nights sold, a 164 percent increase in occupancy, a 67 percent increase in average daily rate and a 339 percent increase in RevPAR year over year despite significant out-of-order inventory.
