Wandering Buffalo Hotel and Lodge has opened in downtown Bozeman, introducing a 38-room boutique property to the area.
The Montana property is a member of the World of Hyatt Mr. & Mrs. Smith collection. Located on East Main Street, the converted hotel is within walking distance of Bozeman’s shops, galleries and restaurants.
“Wandering Buffalo is designed to be a practical and comfortable starting point for experiencing Bozeman and southwest Montana,” Carson Mabe, hotel manager, said in a statement. “We focused on creating a property that connects guests to the community while supporting easy access to the region’s outdoor attractions.”
Guestrooms and suites have Western design, along with Nespresso coffee machines, filtered water stations, high-speed Wi-Fi and 55-inch Smart TVs.
The lobby, known as The Mercantile, is designed as an all-day gathering space serving coffee from Rockford Roasting Co., Tumblewood teas, local pastries and a selection of provisions targeted toward day trips. Complimentary bicycles are available for guests to explore the downtown area. Additional amenities include an outdoor garden with a fire pit and pet-friendly accommodations.
