Following the conversion of a hotel in Spring, Texas, Thind Management plans to open a 92-room Staybridge Suites in late September.
The Staybridge Suites Spring – The Woodlands Area is an existing hotel that has been gutted and rebuilt as an extended-stay property. Houston-based Thind Management served as developer, operator and construction manager for the project, overseeing the redesign and renovation of the property, including new interiors, furnishings and kitchenettes.
The hotel is located between The Woodlands, City Place and Old Town Spring, an historic district with more than 100 independent businesses, including boutiques, galleries and restaurants. The location is intended to serve corporate relocations, training programs, temporary assignments, project teams and other extended business travel.
“Our team has been deeply involved in this property’s transformation from the ground up,” Surpreet Singh, president of Thind Management, said in a statement. “Over the years, we have developed, repositioned and operated a variety of hospitality projects throughout the Houston area.”
The property will offer studios and one- and two-bedroom suites, each with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a full-size refrigerator, cooktop, microwave, dishwasher and sink. Amenities will include an outdoor swimming pool, pickleball and basketball courts, barbecue facilities, complimentary breakfast and free parking. The hotel will also offer Staybridge Suites' evening social program on select nights.
