Shaner Hotels has opened the newly repositioned 109-room Four Points by Sheraton Newark Airport following the property's conversion.
The former Comfort Inn & Suites hotel is located less than one mile from Newark Liberty International Airport. The hotel is adjacent to a parking facility where guests can arrange long-term parking for a daily fee. Nearby attractions include MetLife Stadium, Prudential Center, American Dream Mall and downtown Newark.
Amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, convenience store and 2,025 square feet of meeting space. The property also features Skyline, a ninth-floor restaurant serving breakfast and dinner.
“The Four Points by Sheraton Newark Airport marks Shaner's second hotel in the New Jersey marketplace as we continue our mid-Atlantic expansion plans,” Elias Thompson, regional VP, operations for State College, Pa.-based Shaner Hotels, said in a statement. “This growth allows for shared best practices and economies of scale, both of which benefit the guest and the hotels.”
