New Hilton lifestyle hotel opens in Nashville

Hilton has expanded its Tapestry Collection with the opening of The Printing House Nashville, a 187-room lifestyle hotel located in the city’s South Bank neighborhood.

The property—which looks to draw inspiration from Nashville’s printing and publishing heritage—has mid-century design elements, a rooftop terrace and stage and a café and lounge showcasing local food, drinks and live music. The Printing House—which will be managed by Indianapolis, Ind.-based Sun Development & Management Corporation—is Nashville’s second LEED-certified hotel.

“We are thrilled to bring The Printing House to Nashville, a city with such a deep and celebrated history in the arts,” Gayle Wilkinson, general manager of The Printing House, said in a statement. “The hotel is our tribute to the city's printing history, which was instrumental in the stamping of songbooks eventually converging with artists who made the Music City what it is today.”

“The Printing House is a perfect addition to the Tapestry Collection by Hilton portfolio,” said Elizabeth Scruggs, brand leader, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. “Hilton recognizes that more guests are seeking hotels with an independent spirit, and The Printing House’s vibrant story, rich design and on-property offerings that are uniquely Nashville delivers exactly the stay they are seeking.”

The property has 12 deluxe suites, along with a private seven-room floor that can be configured into a larger suite for groups or events. Amenities include the Letterpress Lounge & Terrace on the fifth floor, the Press House Café and 3,200 sq. feet of meeting and event space. The hotel is within walking distance of Printer’s Alley, the Ryman Auditorium and other downtown venues.
