Maine Course Hospitality Group has opened HomeAwhile, its premier purpose-built 109-room extended stay hotel in Scarborough, Maine. HomeAwhile is an apartment-style alternative to traditional lodging.
The creation of the HomeAwhile concept and its ownership are the result of a strategic partnership with Opechee Construction, based in Belmont, N.H.
“This new hotel brand reflects our commitment to designing and building an extended stay hotel unlike no other,” Sean Riley, CEO of Maine Course Hospitality Group, said in a statement. “We have intentionally focused on elements that enhance the guest experience by offering a home-like environment where visitors can truly feel at home during their stay, regardless of if they are in for one night or 365 nights.”
HomeAwhile includes a variety of apartment-style suites, including king one-bedroom options and two-bedroom units. Every suite includes:
- Fully equipped kitchens with full-size refrigerators, stoves tops and dishwashers
- Dedicated workspaces with high-speed internet
- Separate living areas with two 65-inch TVs and in-room casting capabilities
- On-site amenities including a fitness center, 24/7 laundry facilities and an outdoor recreation area
