Marriott International's Luxury Collection soft brand has made its return to Manhattan with the repositioning of a midtown property now known as The London.
The 54-story hotel includes 562 all-suite accommodations, many of which have views of Central Park and the Manhattan skyline. Each suite has separate living areas and residential-style layouts intended for extended stays.
Located on West 54th Street, the London, Luxury Collection Hotel, New York City, is near Central Park, Carnegie Hall, Broadway theaters and nearby dining and entertainment venues. The hotel’s positioning reflects a focus on its Midtown location, suite-based accommodations and guest experience informed by local context and brand standards, according to Marriott International, which includes the Luxury Collection as one of its 40 brands.
The property includes a daily food and beverage offering described as the Daily Epicurean Moment, featuring artisanal cheeses from Murray’s Cheese and wines from regional producers.
“The introduction of The London, a Luxury Collection Hotel, New York City marks an exciting next chapter for the property, further strengthening our presence in one of the world’s most culturally dynamic destinations,” Bruce Rohr, vp and global brand leader, The Luxury Collection, said in a statement. “With this hotel, we are proud to build upon our presence in the city through a property that reflects both its international spirit and its distinctly local character.”
“What distinguishes The London, a Luxury Collection Hotel, New York City is the experience it offers—one that feels both expansive and deeply connected to its setting,” added GM Geoffery Mills added.
