LivSmart Studios by Hilton Salt Lake City West Valley City has debuted as the extended-stay brand’s first property in the state.
Owned and operated by St. George, Utah-based Wittwer Hospitality, the four-story, 114-room hotel is near the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheatre, Maverik Center, Valley Fair Mall and Utah Olympic Oval. The property—which will hold a grand-opening event on Sept. 22 featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony—is approximately 15 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport.
The hotel offers studio-style accommodations designed for longer stays, with separate areas for sleeping, working, relaxing and cooking. Each unit includes a full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and two-burner cooktop, along with storage and multifunctional furnishings.
“We saw a meaningful opportunity in West Valley City to develop a property that supports the community’s continued growth and the evolving needs of travelers coming to the area,” Shayne Wittwer, CEO of Wittwer Hospitality, said in a statement. “When we invest in a market, our goal is to create properties that deliver long-term value for guests while becoming a positive, thoughtful addition to the communities they serve.”
“This property was designed around the realities, preferences and behaviors people that travel today have in mind,” added Roman Frazier, the majority owner of the property.
Amenities include a complimentary grab-and-go breakfast, Wi-Fi, parking, guest laundry facilities, a fitness center and EV charging stations. The pet-friendly property also features a lobby and public gathering space, a retail market, and an outdoor area with grills, a fire pit and seating. The West Valley City hotel includes a business center based on local development requirements and market needs. It also features the first indoor swimming pool in the LivSmart Studios by Hilton portfolio.
The hotel is the sixth LivSmart Studios by Hilton property to open worldwide.
