The Legacy Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio property, is scheduled to open in Ohio this fall near Medina's downtown historic Square.
Locally owned and developed by Jason Stevenson, founder and CEO of Autonomy Capital, the hotel will be operated by Medina, Ohio-based Riley Hotel Group. The five-story property will include 77 guestrooms and suites, including eight suites, five accessible rooms and four rooms with private terraces.
“Our vision for The Legacy has always been to create a destination that is distinctly Medina, one that reflects the character of our historic community while introducing a new level of hospitality and experience,” Stevenson said in a statement. “We want The Legacy to be a place the community is proud to call its own and one guests are drawn back to time and again.”
“We’re not simply opening a hotel; we’re investing in the community and becoming part of its fabric,” added Joe Moffa, president of Riley Hotel Group.
The hotel’s food & beverage offerings will include Privato, a steakhouse and Italian restaurant; Lily Jean's Coffee & Cocktails, a street-level café and bar; and La Vista, a rooftop restaurant offering Coastal Italian cuisine and a raw bar.
La Vista will occupy the hotel's top floor and include indoor dining, a private dining room and an outdoor terrace. The property will also include The Drawing Room, a lounge connected to Privato.
Adjacent to the hotel, Locale at The Legacy will provide dedicated event space for weddings, corporate functions, non-profit events and other gatherings. The venue will include a 2,750-sq.-foot ballroom that can accommodate up to 235 guests theater-style or 150 guests for a seated banquet. An additional 2,943-sq.-foot outdoor space, known as The Promenade, will provide space for receptions, ceremonies and other events.
Other public areas within the hotel will include The Parlor, a lobby lounge; the Jim & Adrienne Gerspacher Library, which will provide space for meetings and small gatherings; and an outdoor courtyard.
