InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue opens near Seattle

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ luxury and lifestyle portfolio, has opened the InterContinental Bellevue (Wash.) at the Avenue. Bellevue is the third-largest city in the Seattle metropolitan area. This 208-room hotel, situated within the $1B+ Avenue Bellevue complex developed by Fortress Development, marks the brand’s debut in the Pacific Northwest.

The property's design is inspired by Bellevue's landscape, using organic aesthetics and a neutral color palette. The reception area has a marble front desk and an abstract mural showcasing Pacific Northwest landscapes. The hotel has 190 guestrooms and 18 suites and family rooms, including a 2,000-square-foot two-bedroom Presidential Suite.

Positioned across two floors and connected by a sky bridge to the hotel, the conference center has 12,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. The space has nine rooms, including a 4,250-square-foot grand ballroom and a 2,275-square-foot junior ballroom. The conference center has a single entry point for privacy.

InterContinental Bellevue’s curated guest experiences are crafted by its Les Clefs d'Or certified concierge team—one of only three in the region—and include exclusive Woodinville Country Wine Tours with winemaker meet-and-greets, hands-on workshops with Avenue Bellevue partners and private seaplane excursions with aerial views of Lake Washington, the Cascade Mountains, Snoqualmie and Sammamish.

CE LA VI Bellevue is a Parisian-themed cocktail bar and bistro with a chandelier of hand-blown glass pieces. It serves as the hotel's social hub with drinks developed by mixologist Marie Yoshimizu.
