Texas-based Insignia Hospitality Group has opened the 117-suite TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Rancho Cordova, Calif. The all-suite hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and operated by Insignia.
In a statement, Insignia Hospitality Group COO Rachel Overman said the company's team expects strong demand for the property due to the brand's appeal with extended-stay travelers.
The new property has studio and one-bedroom suites with kitchens and separate living, working and sleeping areas. The kitchens have stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops, and there are adjustable work spaces with built-in shelves and lighting.
Public spaces include a fitness center, an outdoor patio with fire pit, corn hole and Weber grills and guest laundry.
Located in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in Sacramento County, the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Sacramento Rancho Cordova is 20 minutes from downtown Sacramento and 25 miles from Sacramento International Airport. The four-story hotel has convenient access to the American River, Sacramento Children’s Museum and the Palladio Shopping Center with shopping, dining and entertainment options
