Holiday Inn & Suites Commerce City-Denver Airport in Colorado is the first-newly built Holiday Inn to feature the brand’s latest lobby design.
The property is designed around a more integrated public-space layout, with the lobby’s front desk, food-and-beverage ordering area and full-service bar positioned together to streamline the arrival experience and consolidate operations. The opening marks another step in Holiday Inn’s design evolution ahead of the brand’s 75th anniversary in 2027. Holiday Inn Fort Worth-Fossil Creek is expected to be the next property to feature the new lobby concept.
Developed by Denver-based NibbleNook Hospitality, the 106-room Holiday Inn & Suites Commerce City-Denver Airport is located less than 10 minutes from Denver International Airport and includes an airport shuttle. The lobby also incorporates flexible, multipurpose areas intended for guests to work, socialize or gather throughout the day. The approach extends to meeting and event spaces.
“We didn’t set out simply to build another hotel—we wanted to create a place that becomes part of a guest’s story in this city,” Pawan Kharbanda, managing member of NibbleNook Hospitality, said in a statement.

Guestrooms are organized into separate zones for work, relaxation and sleep, with dedicated workspaces and lounge areas. Other features include blackout shades, the brand’s bedding package and in-room amenities.
Food and beverage spaces are integrated into the hotel’s public areas. Mile High Landing restaurant serves dinner, while the lobby bar operates throughout the day as a space for dining, drinking and working. The hotel also offers an enhanced breakfast buffet.
Outdoor and recreational amenities include a patio with a fire pit and lounge seating, an indoor heated pool and a 24-hour fitness center. The property also provides complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee and electric vehicle charging.
