Expanding its presence in west-central Minnesota, midscale brand GrandStay Hotels has opened its newest franchise hotel in Spicer.
The GrandStay Hotel & Suites Spicer has a mix of guestrooms and suites, including king and two-queen accommodations, studio suites and one-bedroom suites. Amenities include complimentary breakfast, an indoor pool and whirlpool, fitness center, guest laundry, meeting space and complimentary Wi-Fi.
The property is located less than a mile from Green Lake, a more than 2,800-acre recreational lake that offers fishing, boating and other water activities. The surrounding area also includes golf courses, retail shops and year-round hiking, biking and cross-country skiing trails.
“We're excited to welcome this hotel to the GrandStay family,” Mary Sandberg, president of White Bear Lake, Minn.-based GrandStay Hospitality, said in a statement. “The new ownership has made thoughtful investments to refresh the property, and we're grateful to work with them as they bring the GrandStay experience to Spicer.”
