Extended Stay America further expanded the footprint of its economy extended-stay platform in East Texas with the opening of the Extended Stay America Select Suites – Longview.
Developed by Addison, Texas-based CenterPoint Hospitality, the two-story, 104-room property was converted to the Select Suites prototype following a renovation. The opening marks continued growth for the Select Suites brand, which has scaled to nearly 200 locations since its 2022 debut.
“We are excited to partner with Extended Stay America on this opening,” Anant Patel, managing partner of CenterPoint Hospitality, said in a statement. “The property underwent a comprehensive renovation, including significant infrastructure upgrades, to complete its conversion and position it for long-term success. We remain confident in the strength of the extended-stay segment and the continued momentum of the Extended Stay America platform.”
Located off Interstate 20, the hotel provides access to a range of major industrial and manufacturing employers, including Komatsu, Eastman Chemical Company, Westlake Chemical, Trinity Rail, AAON, Genpak and Norris Cylinder.

The extended-stay property includes accommodations with fully equipped kitchens, on-site laundry and complimentary Wi-Fi. The Longview location also introduces an enhanced outdoor amenity package, featuring a covered patio, BBQ grills and picnic areas.
