Cobblestone Hotel & Suites opens property in Eaton, Ohio

Cobblestone Hotels has debuted its newest location in Eaton, Ohio, marking the occasion with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The event was held in the hotel lobby and attended by representatives from the Preble County Development Partnership, the City of Eaton and members of the Neenah, Wis.-based Cobblestone Hotels corporate team. The hotel marks Cobblestone’s fifth overall location in Ohio and second to open in the state this year.

“This hotel will service a huge need in our community,” Justin Sommer, director of economic development for Preble County, said in a statement. “Instead of those dollars going to Richmond or to Dayton, we get to keep those in our community. We are really excited about the multiplier effect that this will have”.

“Most importantly, it represents continued progress and growth, helping us enhance the overall quality of life for our residents,” added Brad Collins, city manager for the city of Eaton.

Jeremy Griesbach, president of development for Cobblestone Hotels, thanked the project partners and teams involved and acknowledged the collaborative effort required to complete the development. “The final product makes it all worth it,” he said.
