Choice Hotels International marked a milestone for Everhome Suites opening the extended stay brand’s 30th property in Georgetown, Texas.
Choice Hotels—which launched the Everhome Suites brand in 2022—reported that nearly half of all new economy and midscale extended-stay hotel construction currently underway in the U.S. is affiliated with its system. The North Bethesda, Md.-based franchisor also noted that it has achieved 11 consecutive quarters of double-digit extended-stay room growth.
The Georgetown hotel, located outside Austin, serves a market supported by corporate and project-based demand from employers including Dell Technologies, Whole Foods Market and Southwestern University, as well as ongoing manufacturing-related development activity in the region.
The Georgetown opening follows recent Everhome Suites debuts in Panama City Beach, Fla., and Stockbridge, Ga., as the brand continues to expand its geographic footprint. Choice said the recent projects also reflect ongoing relationships with repeat developers and operators.
As of the first quarter of 2026, eight Everhome Suites hotels were under construction, and an additional 40 properties were in the development pipeline. Everhome Suites was developed for travelers seeking apartment-style accommodations during longer stays. The brand’s current prototype features suites with fully equipped kitchens and amenities designed to support extended-stay guests.
