Boutique hotel brand Hideaway Inns has opened its fourth property with the debut of the Hideaway Inn Franconia Notch in Sugar Hill, NH.
Developed by Hideaway Inns and managed by Revival Hotels, the 32-room hotel occupies the site of the former Sunset Hill House. The Galena, Mo.-based brand company said additional properties are under development throughout the Northeast, including a location in Killington, VT, as the company continues to expand into regional markets.
The hotel is near Franconia Notch State Park, Echo Lake and Cannon Mountain and is also within driving distance of Loon Mountain, Bretton Woods, the village of Franconia and downtown Littleton. Sugar Hill is known for its annual lupine bloom, which attracts visitors each June.
“Four properties in under a year tells you everything about the demand we're seeing,” Saxton Sharad, founding partner and CEO of Hideaway Inns, said in a statement. “Franconia Notch is one of the most beautiful corners of New England, exactly the kind of destination travelers love but big brands overlook. We're just getting started.”
The hotel uses Revival Hotels' Invisible Hospitality technology platform, enabling guests to complete direct-to-room check-in. Guestrooms include record players, rainfall showerheads, white noise machines and La Bottega bath amenities. The property also features three suites—the Cannon Suite, Sunset Hill House Suite and White Mountain Suite—and provides access to the Innsider Guide mobile app, which offers local recommendations and property information.
Public spaces include a lounge, billiards area, children's play space, coworking area and an event venue with capacity for up to 250 guests. The property also includes The Lodge, a separate building available for private buyouts.
