Virgin Hotels Collection has appointed Paloma Martinez vice president of operations, Americas. In this expanded role, Martinez will oversee operations across the brand’s U.S. Virgin Hotels portfolio, as well as key Virgin Limited Edition properties in the region, including Necker Island and Branson Beach Estate.
Martinez has more than 30 years of experience in luxury hospitality, having led operations across 13 countries. Her career includes roles with InterContinental Hotels Group, Six Senses and Kimpton Hotels, among others.
“Paloma is a transformative leader whose experience and vision align perfectly with Virgin Hotels Collection's mission to create remarkable experiences for every guest,” Chris Stevens, chief operating officer at Virgin Hotels Collection, said in a statement. “Her international perspective and proven ability to elevate operations will be invaluable as we continue to expand and redefine hospitality across the Americas.”
Martinez holds a BA in International Business and Finance from St. Louis University and has completed an executive program at Cornell University.
