Virgin Hotels Collection adds to leadership team

Virgin Hotels Collection, the parent company of Virgin Hotels and Virgin Limited Edition, appointed Johanna Kent as chief people officer and Leo Rotshteyn as global head of revenue management and distribution.

Kent joins the executive team of Virgin Hotels Collection with more than 27 years’ experience. Her career has focused on talent acquisition, leadership development and fostering inclusive workplace cultures. Most recently at Virgin Orbit, she led the People & Culture team, driving a 40 percent growth in headcount and navigated complex challenges including a SPAC transaction. At Mattel, Kent spearheaded global initiatives such as a large-scale reorganization, the acquisition and integration of a $175 million company, and provided front line HR support for over 1,800 professional employees.

Rotshteyn joins Virgin Hotels Collection as global head of revenue management and distribution, with more than 30 years of experience driving multimillion-dollar profit growth in the hospitality industry. His experience spans revenue optimization, distribution strategies, marketing, sales, and e-commerce. Joining from Preferred Hotels & Resorts, he managed a complex portfolio of more than 50 hotels, exceeding annual revenue goals for 10 out of 13 years.
