Texas' Hotel ZaZa appoints new president

Patrick Fisher has been appointed president of Hotel ZaZa, a collection of four hotels across Texas in Dallas, Houston and Austin. Fisher will oversee hotel operations, brand strategy and future growth initiatives following the 2024 Rockbridge Holdings acquisition. 

Fisher will lead the full Hotel ZaZa portfolio—including Hotel ZaZa Dallas Uptown, Hotel ZaZa Houston Museum District, Hotel ZaZa Houston Memorial City and Hotel ZaZa Austin Downtown—working alongside ownership and on-property leadership.

“Patrick is the ideal leader to guide Hotel ZaZa into its next chapter,” Mike Deitemeyer of Rockbridge said in a statement. “With his deep expertise in luxury and design-driven hospitality, he brings the vision and strategic insight to strengthen the brand’s unique identity, expand its presence and continue delivering the exceptional experiences that define Hotel ZaZa.”

Fisher joins Hotel ZaZa from the Ian Schrager Co., where he most recently was chief operating officer and reported directly to founder and CEO Ian Schrager. In this role, he managed an owner-operator hospitality model that integrated operations, design and development across properties in New York, Los Angeles and Miami.

Before joining the Ian Schrager Co., Fisher was senior vice president and managing director at Fontainebleau Development in Miami Beach, overseeing operations Fontainebleau Miami Beach Resort & Spa, JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa, Turnberry Isle Country Club and a portfolio of affiliated properties across the East Coast. Before that, he held roles with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, MGM Resorts in Las Vegas and a corporate leadership position with Montage International, where he oversaw the Montage and Pendry brands across North America. Fisher grew up in Bethesda, Md., and is a graduate of Louisiana State University.
