Purchasing Management International promotes COO, EVP

Procurement firm Purchasing Management International has promoted Laura Herzog to chief operating officer and executive vice president.

In her expanded role, Herzog will help lead operational strategy and drive execution across the organization. 

“Laura has built a strong reputation through her leadership and is well respected throughout the industry, which makes her exceptionally well suited for this role,” Carl Long, president and chief executive officer of Purchasing Management International, said in the statement. “As PMI continues to grow, Laura’s experience, discipline, and vision will play an important role in helping us scale the business while maintaining the service, integrity, and execution that define who we are.”

Purchasing Management International has purchased and installed more than $4 billion in furnishings, fixtures, equipment and systems for hotels, resorts, casinos and destination properties worldwide.
