Chris Buckner has joined Marriott International as the company’s new senior vice president, loyalty.
Buckner joins the company after a year as EVP, product, loyalty and design at The Points Guy/Red Ventures. He spent five years overseeing loyalty for JetBlue and earned his MBA from the University of Iowa.
“It is an exciting time for Chris to be joining our team,” Peggy Roe, EVP + chief customer officer, Marriott International, wrote in a LinkedIn post announcing the appointment. “Chris’s extensive background with airlines, loyalty, and customer experience will be a tremendous addition to our team and our mission to continue to evolve Marriott Bonvoy as a lifelong travel partner.
