Makeready—a Dallas-based hospitality company with hotels, restaurants and retail brands across the United States—has promoted Riley Nail to vice president, creative & brand experience and Mary Doyle to senior director, marketing & communications.
In his new role, Riley will oversee the creative vision and brand strategy across Makeready's collection of hotels, restaurants and lifestyle brands. Since joining Makeready in 2017, he has played an instrumental role in shaping the company's brand identity, storytelling, guest experiences, and creative direction across every touchpoint.
As the creative lead across the collection, Nail will oversee art direction, storytelling, in-room experiences, programming, and the development of experiences that bring each property's unique identity to life.
"Riley has helped define what the Makeready brand stands for today," Makeready President Eric Gavin said in a statement. "His creativity, strategic vision and commitment to meaningful guest experiences have elevated our portfolio in countless ways. This promotion recognizes the tremendous impact he has had on our company and the exciting future ahead."
Doyle will lead marketing efforts across Makeready's portfolio, partnering with field and on-property teams to sharpen brand presence, drive revenue and root each property more deeply in its local community. She brings extensive expertise in hospitality, destination marketing, communications and community engagement. In her role, she will translate Makeready’s portfolio-wide strategy into market-specific initiatives that support both brand awareness and commercial performance.
"Mary's experience creating meaningful connections between brands and communities makes her an incredible addition to our leadership team," Gavin said. "Her strategic approach to marketing will help ensure every Makeready property continues to thrive within its local market while contributing to the strength of our portfolio as a whole."
