Hotel Equities has made a series of strategic executive appointments across its full service, focused service, and lifestyle divisions.
“These executives bring exceptional talent and diverse industry experience to their newly created roles,” Hotel Equities COO Albert Smith said in a statement. “Their leadership is integral as we continue to strengthen our lifestyle, full-, and select-service divisions across the U.S., Canada, and CALA, enhancing value for our owners and partners. By promoting from within, we’re investing in high performers who will help us grow our portfolio and expand our platform for innovation — from traditional hotels to new concepts like our leading outdoor hospitality brand, Postcard Cabins.”
Newly announced positions include:
- Peter Tziahanas, president, full service division. Tziahanas joined Hotel Equities in 2021 and previously served as executive vice president of operations, overseeing key lifestyle and owned assets across the firm’s portfolio. In his new role, he collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence, profitability, and enhanced guest and employee engagement. Before joining HE, Tziahanas held several multi-unit leadership positions with prominent management groups, including Pivot Hotels at Davidson Hospitality Group, where he successfully led the lifestyle operating vertical.
- David Rosenberg, president, focused service division. Rosenberg joined Hotel Equities in 2020 and most recently served as executive vice president of operations, where he oversaw the deployment of analytics-driven performance dashboards, managed M&A integrations, and led a substantial portion of HE’s multi-branded hotel portfolio. He also guided the company’s entry into the outdoor hospitality segment through the integration of Postcard Cabins into the portfolio. With extensive experience across both full-service and select-service hotels, Rosenberg has held several executive roles throughout his career, consistently driving revenue growth, market share, profitability and team engagement.
Becky Vealey (Hotel Equities) Becky Vealey, senior vice president of sales, full service and lifestyle division. Vealey, previously HE’s vice president of revenue generation, now oversees sales strategies for the full service and lifestyle division. Vealey leads a high-performing team of revenue managers, corporate directors of sales and marketing executives, driving revenue across a multi-brand portfolio. With over a decade in above-property roles and hands-on experience at the property level, Vealey brings a strategic and operational edge in revenue generation and commercial leadership. She is also active in HE’s mentorship initiatives helping grow the next generation of leaders in the industry.
Carol Lobaito (Hotel Equities ) Carol Lobaito, senior vice president of sales, focused service division. Lobaito, formerly vice president of sales and marketing, now oversees strategic initiatives to grow market share, drive revenue, and enhance brand awareness within the focused service division and across HE’s outdoor hospitality portfolio. With over 20 years of experience spanning property-level sales, multi-property oversight and national brand leadership, Lobaito excels at collaborating with property teams, ownership groups and franchise partners.
Liz Flurry (Hotel Equities) Liz Flurry, vice president of growth marketing. Flurry, formerly director of marketing and brand activation, has been promoted to this new role, in which she develops and executes innovative digital marketing and e-commerce strategies to drive booking conversion across HE’s branded portfolio. Flurry brings extensive experience in traditional and digital marketing, social media, reputation management, and brand development, including seven years with Marriott.
Eve Tronson (Hotel Equities ) Eve Tronson, vice president of marketing, lifestyle division. Tronson joins HE as VP of marketing, overseeing brand, digital, CRM and field marketing strategy across the portfolio of lifestyle and independent hotels. With over two decades of hospitality experience, including leadership roles at Viceroy Hotels & Resorts, Tronson brings expertise in brand storytelling, performance marketing, e-commerce, and guest lifecycle strategy. She is recognized for her collaborative leadership, cross-functional approach and data-informed creativity that drive measurable growth.
Brandon Standerfer (Hotel Equities) Brandon Standerfer, vice president of distribution, lifestyle division. Standerfer, promoted to VP of distribution, brings more than 20 years of experience in revenue management, distribution optimization, project management, call center operations, reservation sales, and process improvement. He has worked across all hotel segments, from economy to boutique lifestyle luxury, and is recognized for his ability to integrate diverse disciplines into cohesive, high-performing strategies that optimize revenue and operational efficiency.
Jennifer Cannistraci (Hotel Equities) Jennifer Cannistraci, vice president of sales, lifestyle division. Cannistraci, promoted to VP of sales, leads strategic growth and brand success across a portfolio of lifestyle assets. With experience at Four Seasons, The Beverly Hilton, Sunset Marquis and Hotel Amarano, Cannistraci combines creativity with data-driven strategy to deliver measurable results and elevate brand presence. Her collaborative approach and business acumen position her to drive continued growth and success for the lifestyle portfolio.
