Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts appoints Robert Fritz as executive chairman. Four Seasons Founder and Chairman Isadore Sharp will assume the role of chairman emeritus.
Fritz, who has spent decades with Four Seasons and most recently served as president, will work closely with founder Sharp and President and CEO Alejandro Reynal on long-term strategy, brand stewardship and owner relations, the company said.
“Robert’s deep understanding of our culture, our owners and our guests makes him uniquely suited to help guide Four Seasons into its next chapter,” Sharp said in a statement.
In his new role, Fritz will focus on strengthening relationships with the company’s ownership partners and supporting senior leadership as Four Seasons advances development across hotels, resorts and branded residential offerings worldwide.
Reynal said the appointment formalizes a leadership structure that reflects the company’s scale and ambitions. “Robert has been instrumental in shaping the modern Four Seasons, and his continued involvement at the highest level ensures continuity as we pursue thoughtful growth,” Reynal said.
Fritz has been with Four Seasons for more than three decades and has held a range of senior leadership positions, including overseeing global operations, development and brand strategy. During his tenure, the company significantly expanded its international footprint while maintaining its focus on luxury service and design.
