EOS Hospitality appoints VP of operations

EOS Hospitality, a full-service hotel and hospitality management company, appoints Abe Liao as vice president of operations. In this role, Liao will oversee a select group of EOS Hospitality assets, including Kingston Resorts, Brittain Resorts & Hotels and Washington, D.C.-area properties, the Hamilton Hotel and Embassy Suites Georgetown, providing operational leadership focused on performance, execution and long-term value creation. EOS Hospitality currently operates more than 60 hotels and resorts, totaling more than 10,145 keys across the United States.

With more than 20 years in the hospitality industry, Liao joins EOS Hospitality following his role as managing director of The Watergate Hotel, where he led the 336-room luxury hotel through an intensive rebuild and repositioning, working directly with ownership to elevate both operational performance and the guest experience.

Prior to this, Liao served as vice president of operations at Aimbridge Hospitality, where he oversaw a national portfolio of full-service luxury and lifestyle hotels, driving results across all key performance indicators while building strong, scalable leadership teams.

“Abe’s hands-on leadership style and people-first approach make him uniquely positioned to support our growing portfolio,” EOS Hospitality CEO Simon Mais said in a statement. “His ability to align ownership objectives with operational excellence and brand integrity will be instrumental as we continue to drive strong performance and long-term value across our portfolio.”

Liao has opened four hotels as general manager, establishing culture, operational discipline, and financial performance from day one. In both on-property and above-property roles, Liao has driven improvements in guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall asset performance, partnering closely with ownership groups, asset managers, and property leadership teams to achieve strong returns across luxury, lifestyle, resort and urban hotels.
