Edition Hotels, a collection developed through a collaboration between hotelier Ian Schrager and Marriott International, appointed George Fleck as senior vice president and global brand leader. In this role, Fleck will oversee the brand’s growth as well as its culture, training platforms, openings, design, marketing strategy, nightlife programming and food and beverage concept development.

Fleck has been with Marriott International for more than 20 years, including nearly 15 years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He has held brand management, marketing and sales leadership roles around the world including the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. fleck dually serves as the senior vice president and global brand leader for W Hotels, where he spearheads the brand’s global evolution.
Before his current role, Fleck was vice president and global brand leader for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts where he was responsible for redefining the guest experience across its global portfolio of more than 50 hotels and resorts.

The Edition brand recently debuted its 20th property in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Several new properties are slated to open in 2025.
