Dallas-based hotel operator Dreamscape Hospitality has appointed Wes Santos as regional director of operations.
Santos will be based in the company’s Florida office and oversee operations across its portfolio of third-party managed properties. In his new role, Santos will work with hotel teams on operational performance, associate engagement, guest service and owner returns.
“Wes is a results driven leader with a proven track record of building strong teams, elevating hotel performance and creating cultures where associates thrive,” Adam Patenaude, president of Dreamscape Hospitality, said in a statement. “His depth of experience across diverse markets and property types makes him an outstanding addition to the Dreamscape family.”
Santos has more than 15 years of hospitality experience, with roles at full-service hotels in markets including Washington, D.C.; San Jose, Calif.; Charlotte, N.C.; Savannah, Ga.; and Sarasota, Fla. Most recently, Santos oversaw a portfolio of Florida hotel assets, where he focused on operational performance and ownership returns.
In addition, Santos is vice president of lodging on the Suncoast Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association Executive Committee and treasurer of Visit Sarasota County.
