Davidson Hospitality Group has promoted Steve Keck to vice president, people and culture – field operations. Keck will partner with operations leaders across Davidson's business verticals to oversee the integration of people, processes and culture while supporting compliance and operational performance. He also will lead the company's regional and area human resources directors, with responsibility for engagement, turnover and talent metrics at both the property and regional levels.

"We are proud to empower him to successfully guide people strategy for our hotels and resorts, grounded in empathy, credibility and relatability."
Keck joined Davidson in 2022 and was promoted to senior director of human resources in 2024. During his tenure, he helped lead the rollout and adoption of a human resources information system across the company and played a key role in developing and implementing a companywide payroll standard operating procedure.
He also serves on Davidson's We Care committee, which provides financial assistance to team members facing unexpected hardships, and works with senior leadership on people strategy, performance management, recruitment and HR compliance.
Keck has more than 23 years of hospitality human resources experience spanning frontline operations and executive leadership roles.
