Davidson Hospitality appoints two to leadership roles

Davidson Hospitality Group appoints two to key corporate leadership roles. Matthew Bright joins as senior vice president – head of information technology, where he is responsible for leading the company’s technology team along with key external partners to ensure a strong technical infrastructure and process for its expanding portfolio. Randy Diamond, in his new role as regional vice president, Pivot, oversees the direction of best-in-class hotel operations and successful financial performance, while also fostering team member professional development and enhancing guest satisfaction.

“To continue creating value in all that we do as an enterprise, we are delighted to welcome new team members that will further elevate and differentiate Davidson,” Davidson Hospitality Group Chief Financial Officer Harris White, said in a statement. “Matthew will play a pivotal role in the implementation and optimization of our tech stack to help drive Davidson’s adoption of AI and Business Intelligence initiatives to improve our analytical capabilities and efficiency.”

Prior to Davidson, Bright served as vice president of IT operations, enterprise applications, security operations and data engineering at Aimbridge Hospitality, where he oversaw networking, cloud, systems administration, identity management, security, data warehousing and business applications. Previously, he was the IT Infrastructure Manager at Cottonwood Financial, responsible for all system and database administration servicing the needs of more than 1,200 employees across 348 stores, three datacenters and remote/offshore workers.

Diamond joins most recently from Highgate Hotels, where he was vice president of operations overseeing a mix of 10 independent, luxury, lifestyle and branded hotels. During his tenure, he oversaw more than 900 team members and launched three new independent brands from conception through proforma, branding, renovation, and post-opening execution. He has held a number of leadership positions at lifestyle and luxury hotels across the country, including Dream Nashville, Shutters on the Beach in Santa Monica; Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills; Ritz-Carlton Chicago; Four Seasons Houston, and Four Seasons Philadelphia.
