Colliers has hired Ashwin Datta as an analyst in its Hospitality Practice Group as the company continues to expand its Manhattan office. In his new role, Datta will support the Hospitality Practice Group on operational initiatives, marketing efforts, technology assessments and capital markets assignments. His responsibilities will also include research, analysis and the preparation of client and management materials.
“As the practice continues to grow and our reach expands, we are excited to welcome Ashwin back to Colliers,” Mark Owens, vice chair and leader of the Hospitality Practice Group at Colliers, said in a statement. “His growth last summer as an intern and his connection with the team made his conversion to full-time analyst an easy decision.”

Before joining Colliers full time, Datta served as a director of Home One Group of Companies, a family-owned real estate company in South India, where he supported development, acquisitions, leasing and project management initiatives. He also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Madras.
