Azul Hospitality adds two to senior leadership team

Azul Hospitality appoints Jennifer Boyce-Heller as senior vice president of accounting and Bobby Copeland as regional vice president of operations.

Boyce-Heller will oversee Azul's accounting organization, bringing extensive experience in hospitality finance, owner reporting, treasury and shared-services accounting. Copeland brings more than 25 years of hospitality leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving operational excellence, building high-performing teams, and delivering strong commercial results across Marriott-, Hyatt- and Hilton-branded hotels.

"Jennifer and Bobby each bring deep expertise in disciplines that are fundamental to delivering results for our owners," Azul Hospitality CEO Alvaro Fraile said in a statement. "Jennifer's background leading enterprise accounting for complex hospitality portfolios strengthens our financial infrastructure as we continue to grow, while Bobby has consistently demonstrated the ability to drive operational performance, develop talent, and create value at the property level. Together, they will enhance our executive leadership team and strengthen our ability to deliver financial accountability, operational excellence, and long-term value for our owners as we continue to grow."

Boyce-Heller joins Azul from Sage Hospitality Group, where she most recently served as vice president of Pproperty and investment accounting. During her tenure at Sage, she held multiple leadership roles, ultimately leading the company's enterprise accounting platform. She oversaw financial reporting, treasury, internal controls, owner and lender reporting, capital account management and joint venture accounting, while leading a team of 19 accounting professionals.

Earlier in her career, Boyce-Heller held senior finance positions with Jacobs Engineering Group, where she helped lead global real estate reporting standards and enterprise accounting system conversions.

Throughout his career, Copeland has led hotel openings, repositioning initiatives and operational improvements that enhanced guest satisfaction, strengthened associate engagement, and improved asset performance. At AC Hotel Beverly Hills, he spearheaded the launch of Nava Rooftop Bar & Lounge and transformed underutilized space into a revenue-generating meeting venue while helping position the rooftop outlet for significant growth. Earlier in his career, he opened both AC Hotel Orlando Downtown and Courtyard by Marriott Delray Beach, consistently delivering strong operating performance and mentoring leaders across multiple hotel brands.
