Accor has appointed Laurent Choain its new global chief people & culture officer, member of the Group Management board effective April 1. Besides his global role, Laurent also will be serving on the Premium, Midscale & Economy Executive Committee.

Choain has more than three decades of international HR leadership experience, having held senior roles at Forvis Mazars, Groupe Caisse d’Epargne (now BPCE) and Kempinski Hotels & Resorts. He also holds board memberships at EFMD, Bologna Business School, the Peter Drucker Society of Europe, and the Festival de Ramatuelle. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from Université Paris Panthéon Assas, alongside Master’s degrees from Paris Panthéon Sorbonne and Neoma Business School.
In his new role, Choain will develop Accor's talent agenda and foster growth and development opportunities for employees globally.
