Pure Wellness debuts Wellness floor at InterContinental Houston

Continuing to expand its footprint in U.S. medical markets, Pure Wellness has launched a dedicated Pure Room Wellness Floor at the InterContinental Houston.

The new Pure Room Wellness Floor occupies the hotel’s 19th floor and includes 23 guestrooms designed to support guests who prioritize air quality, healthy travel and overall well-being. The installation aligns with the InterContinental Houston’s location within the Texas Medical Center, where a large share of demand is driven by patients, caregivers, medical professionals and visitors connected to nearby healthcare institutions and Rice University.

“This initiative supports our commitment to providing an elevated stay experience for guests whose visits may be health-related or longer in duration,” Juan Laginia, general manager of InterContinental Houston, said in a statement.

Pure Room guestrooms are treated using Pure Wellness’ proprietary multi-step process. Features include enhanced air purification exceeding HEPA standards, 99% anti-viral and anti-microbial surface protection and hypoallergenic room conditions. The rooms are intended to accommodate guests with sensitivities as well as those seeking a restorative stay during medical treatment, recovery or extended visits, according to the Buffalo, N.Y.-based company.
